App Transport Security: What, Why, How? from Chris Dzombak on Vimeo.
In this talk, I answer all your questions about App Transport Security: What is it? Why does it matter? How do you make your server compatible with it, and how do you configure your app to talk to non-compliant servers? Which other apps are using ATS? How does it work alongside other security strategies, like using plain old HTTPS or certificate pinning?
Slides are available on SpeakerDeck: speakerdeck.com/dzombak/app-transport-security-what-why-how
And speakers’ notes, etc are on my blog: dzombak.com/talks/2016-01-14-App-Transport-Security–What–Why–How-.html
Di Carta/Papermade 2015-2016 Report
Gudrun Heamägi
INFERNO
Archival pigment prints bound to a book
Various offset lithographies on paper, 2013I am pleased to present the works of Estonian artist, Gudrun Heamägi, whose prints I saw in the International Biennial of Paper Works at Palazzo Fogazzaro, in Schio-Vicenza, Italy. Curated by Valeria Bertesina, 2a edizione Biennale Internazionale di Opere di Carta Etica / Estetica presents the work of 80 Italian and international artists from 33 countries.
Gudrun Heamägi (born 1989) is a visual artist based in Tallinn, Estonia. Her past works have expressed interest in stream of consciousness creation via the interconnecting of mediums such as printmaking, drawing, digital collage and photography. Gudrun’s works allude to dream states and remembrances of times past.
-EndiGudrun says about her work:
When making INFERNO I was mainly inspired by the original text of Dante Alighieri’s Inferno and his time’s approach to the Christian world in general, alchemy, dreamlike atmospheres, different theories on narrative, stories with the cyclic structure. My work is based on individualism rather than Dante’s approach to the concept of hell. It is a metacomic ie, a comic book about comic books with a certain characteristic modality and communicative language of the medium as an analog system.
Over thousands of years, Lake Superior carved out caves in the sandstone cliffs of the Wisconsin lakeshore. Today, when conditions are right, you can hike out and see these remarkable formations clad in snow and ice at Apostle Islands National Lakeshore.
